Jay Pagano named general manager of Global Parts Network

Jay Pagano has more than 46 years of experience in the heavy duty aftermarket, including the past 25 years with VIPAR Heavy Duty.

Jay Pagano has been named general manager of Global Parts Network, LLC (GPN), a wholly owned subsidiary of VIPAR Heavy Duty. Pagano will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and execution of the Global Parts Network business plan.

Pagano has more than 46 years of experience in the heavy duty aftermarket, including the past 25 years with VIPAR Heavy Duty. Pagano was first a stockholder and then an employee, filling a variety of roles with the organization. Most recently Pagano was senior director of business development for GPN in the eastern half of the U.S. and Canada.

“Jay’s experience, long-term relationships with stockholders and suppliers, overall product knowledge and in-depth understanding of the brake business are an asset not only to GPN, but also to our distributors and suppliers,” said Chris Baer, executive vice president, VIPAR Heavy Duty. “These qualities make Jay a great fit to lead the operations of Global Parts Network.”

GPN operates parts distribution centers as well as brake manufacturing production centers providing seamless service and support exclusively to the VIPAR Heavy Duty family of companies to satisfy the replacement parts needs of commercial vehicle operators and maintenance facilities.
