AP Exhaust Technologies, LLC announced the appointment of Hugh Charvat as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and member of the AP Exhaust Executive team, effective immediately.
Evangelos “Vange” Proimos will continue as the company’s Executive Chairman, working directly with Charvat on developing the company’s strategies, growing the business organically and through acquisitions, and supporting AP Exhaust’s customer relationships.
Before Schrader, Charvat held increasingly significant leadership roles at FleetPride, Inc., a leading distributor in the aftermarket parts industry serving the trucking industry. He started his career at U.S. Tire & Exhaust, beginning as a Market Development Specialist and ascending to the Vice President of Purchasing before departing in 1999. Charvat earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Eastern Illinois University and is a member of the Auto Care Association (ACA), Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA), and the Heavy Duty Business Forum (HDBF).
