Marc Brazeau, who was the President and Chief Executive Officer of AIA Canada, will join Uni-Select Canada in the newly created position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the parts distribution activities.
Brazeau will join the company on May 4, 2015, immediately after his resignation from AIA Canada is effective.
Brazeau’s role will be to develop sales strategies for the various segments of the markets including National and Regional Accounts and Banner Programs and support the execution of Marketing programs and strategies. He will ensure that the company provides the best solutions and service to its customers to foster their growth while further developing Uni-Select’s major accounts portfolio. He also will contribute to the company’s acquisition-driven growth strategy.
Brazeau has nearly 25 years of experience in the industry, including 20 years spent with AIA Canada.
“We are convinced that Marc’s extensive knowledge of our industry and its players will be beneficial to our customers and in achieving our growth targets,” said Gary O’Connor, President and COO, Automotive, Canada. “Linda Donnini will be collaborating with Marc.”
Michel Charbonneau, Vice President Sales and Marketing, PBE, will continue in parallel to focus on developing the PBE segment in Canada, including increasing the ProColor network of franchises.
“We hold a leadership position in the PBE market today; however we have a tremendous opportunity to extend our lead across Canada,” O’Connor said. “Together, Marc and Michel will contribute to accelerating our growth in the aftermarket parts distribution business, as well as in the PBE space across the country.
