Enerpulse Technologies, makers of Pulstar® with PlasmaCore spark plugs, announced today that Kayla Sims of Malden, Mo. is the grand prize winner in its “Feel Pulstar” Refer-a-Friend program at www.FeelPulstar.com.
As the grand prize winner, Sims won a trip for two to attend the SEMA Show in Las Vegas from November 6 to 8; including airfare, hotel accommodations and ground transportation.
Sims learned about the promotion through a friend’s Facebook page. “When I saw the posting about the contest I decided to enter because my car really needs a new set of spark plugs.”
In addition to winning the trip to Las Vegas, Sims also earned free Pulstar gear and a free set of Pulstar spark plugs. While at the SEMA Show, Sims and a guest will get to meet Al Unser Jr. and spend quality time walking the show with him. She will also race Unser Jr. in a go kart at Pole Position Raceway in Las Vegas on Friday, November 7.
Sims said, "It is going to be great to meet Al Unser Jr. because I have never met a famous race car driver before. I hope he goes easy on me at the track!"
When informed that Sims had won the contest and told of her comments, Al Unser Jr. said, “I can’t wait to meet Kayla. Pulstar and I plan on showing her a good time at SEMA.”
The Feel Pulstar program was held between August 7 and September 30, 2014. Participants who signed-up with their email address at www.FeelPulstar.com received a unique referral link to share with friends. Participants earned one referral point for each friend who followed the unique link and enrolled in the program. Referral points could be accrued to earn Pulstar rewards as various tiers were achieved. Rewards included Pulstar hats, Fender Grippers, a sets of spark plugs (up to 10) and authentic Pit Crew shirts. Each referral point earned by the participant was counted as additional entries toward the grand prize drawing, increasing their chances to win.
