DENSO expands starter/alternator coverage

DENSO has announced the availability of 238 new part numbers in its latest starter and alternator catalog (SA-CAT-0314), expanding coverage to a total of more than 201.6 million Units In Operation (UIO) for alternators and 200.5 million UIO for starters.  
DENSO has announced the availability of 238 new part numbers in its latest starter and alternator catalog (SA-CAT-0314), expanding coverage to a total of more than 201.6 million Units In Operation (UIO) for alternators and 200.5 million UIO for starters. In fact, DENSO has a starter and alternator for more than 200 million vehicles currently on the road, which equals about 80 percent coverage, with more to come in the near future.
“With 1,521 parts numbers, DENSO covers a wide portion of the automotive market,” notes Fran Labun, vice president, Sales Group, DENSO Products and Services Americas, Inc. “The new starter and alternator part numbers increase our coverage of late-model Japanese and Korean vehicles, representing more than 86 million UIO.”
