Automotive Distribution Network signs UESCO as Parts Plus member

Feb. 19, 2014
The Automotive Distribution Network has signed Fargo, N.D.-based United Electric Service Company (UESCO) Warehouse Inc. as a Parts Plus member.

The Automotive Distribution Network has signed Fargo, N.D.-based United Electric Service Company (UESCO) Warehouse Inc. as a Parts Plus member, according to Mike Lambert, president of the Network.

“The election of UESCO into membership extends the Parts Plus brand throughout North and South Dakota and Minnesota,” Lambert said. “I believe the Network’s purchasing power, marketing programs, and IT support will be valuable assets to UESCO.”

After evaluating several buying groups, UESCO decided the people and the programs behind the Network were the best fit, said Steve Larson, president and COO of UESCO.

“We’ve noticed that some of the groups were becoming larger, stronger, and more robust in their member services, while others were lagging behind,” Larson explained. “We felt that our future well-being depended on UESCO being allied with a growing group whose exclusive purpose was providing benefit to its members. So joining the Network made perfect sense for us.”

Based out of its main facility in Fargo and another distribution center in Grand Forks, N.D., UESCO will be able to add product lines and offer more aggressive pricing as a Parts Plus warehouse distributor to better serve their customer base. UESCO also plans to offer the Parts Plus Car Care Center program to its top service dealer customers.

Operating under the brands of Parts Plus, Parts Plus Mexico, IAPA and Auto Pride, the Automotive Distribution Network is one of the largest, most diverse program groups in the industry.
