Advance Auto Parts names Jason Howes VP, distribution operations

Howes will report to Charles Tyson, Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain and will be based in Roanoke Va.

Advance Auto Parts appointed Jason Howes to Vice President, Distribution Operations. He will be responsible for leading the company’s continued efforts to build a world class distribution network to stores and commercial customers.

Howes will report to Charles Tyson, Executive Vice President, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain and will be based in Roanoke Va. 

“I am excited to have Jason joining the team,” said Tyson. “Jason’s extensive background in supply chain, logistics and distribution center operations will be a tremendous asset to Advance as we continue to enhance our supply chain capabilities.”

Prior to joining Advance, Mr. Howes served as Senior Director of Distribution and Global Strategic Operations for Bare Escentuals Beauty, Inc. Prior to Bare Escentuals, he served as Director of Operations and Inventory Management at Corporate Express, Inc., where he also previously held the role of Warehouse and Facilities Manager.
