Advance Auto Parts to Open Distribution Center in Indiana

  Advance Auto Parts and local officials will conduct a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the company's new distribution center in Remington, Ind., at 3 p.m. April 9.  

Advance Auto Parts and representatives from the state of Indiana, city of Remington and Jasper County will join together at a ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of Remington’s new Advance Auto Parts distribution center at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 9.

Advance Auto Parts will also present a $10,000 check to the Tri-County High School at the ceremony to show its dedication to the community where its customers and team members work and live. Attendees will include:

·         Eric Doden, President, Indiana Economic Development Corporation

·         Kendell Culp, President, Jasper County Board of Commissioners

·         Brian Melchi, President, Remington Town Council

The distribution center is outfitted with state-of-the-art material handling systems and equipment. It is designed to help the company serve its stores better; shorten supply lines; and save time and fuel.
