Venchurs combines compressed natural gas, off-roading
Venchurs Vehicle Systems (VVS), a QVM (qualified vehicle modifier) for Ford offering both Bi-Fuel and CNG dedicated conversions for F-250/350 trucks, will be showcasing its Bi-Fuel system at the Moab Easter Jeep Safari (March 31-April 1). Moab, Utah is often referred to as the “Mecca of four- wheeling” making this event the perfect place to showcase the trucks’ performance capabilities.

We believe CNG is our country’s transportation fuel of the future—and we are leading the revolution.”
At Moab, VVS will be taking its Bi-Fuel Ford F-250 truck that will feature a 2” lift, Bilstein shocks, 35” BFGoodrich Mud-Terrains and off road skid plates on trail rides of various levels of difficulty and will have the vehicle available for media drives. According to PT Muldoon, Vice President of Engineering for Venchurs Vehicle Systems, CNG is currently focused towards the fleet industry and Moab brings about an opportunity to introduce CNG to a new market of dedicated off-road enthusiasts. This is timely because of the recently built CNG station in Moab, Utah.
“CNG is currently being considered by fleets, so we are excited for the opportunity to help raise awareness through new avenues about this clean and domestically available fuel,” says Jeff Wyatt, CEO of Venchurs. “We’ve been an OE service provider for over 40 years—our customer service and quality is unparalleled and we are confident in both our systems and our contribution to this revolution."
CNG has been gaining momentum for a variety of reasons including lower fuel and maintenance costs, fewer emissions, a reduced dependency of foreign oil and a higher safety rating. The Venchurs CNG program includes both dedicated CNG systems, as well as a Bi Fuel system which allows for a seamless, “on-the-fly” switching of the fuel supply and offers a total fuel range of up to 650 miles. As a QVM, the original Ford warranty stays intact and standard Ford Diagnostic Equipment can service the vehicles.
Venchurs is also offering a demo program to both fleet managers and media to test out CNG converted Ford vehicles. For additional information, please visit www.VenchursCNG.com or call 855-264-4300.
