Venchurs, Inc. is pleased to welcome Terry Karges as the newest addition to its Michigan based team. As the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Venchurs Vehicle Systems, Karges will use his knowledge of the specialty vehicle market to lead the company’s latest initiatives that include building cutting-edge CNG conversions for the fleet market and offering a complete line of aftermarket performance parts and halo vehicles through its VWerks and XPLORE brands.

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome Terry to the Venchurs’ team,” says Jeff Wyatt, CEO of Venchurs. “Terry’s resume is impressive— his expertise in sales and marketing runs deep and he is exactly what we need to guide the launch of our new programs within Venchurs Vehicle Systems.”

As the former Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Roush Performance, Karges and his talented team of colleagues and friends grew the company from only two products and no sales into the largest specialty high performance car builder in the industry with a distribution network of 500 Ford dealers and a robust line up of performance parts and crate engine programs. With previous experience in managing sales personnel, advertising, new media, promotional events and branding, Karges was able to help grow Roush Performance from the ground up into the household name it is today.

Before Roush, Karges worked in sales and marketing in a variety of industries including sports and entertainment. As owner of Karges Sport he was involved in motorsports marketing and racing sponsorships, including his own racing team. Karges later partnered with Bill Cord, creating Cord Automotive, an aftermarket parts manufacturer and distributor that successfully negotiated the exclusive distribution rights to Roush Performance Products for the United Sates west of the Mississippi, leading to his tenure with Roush Performance itself.

“Venchurs Vehicle Systems has so much potential, and I’m eager to help get these programs off the ground,” says Karges. “Between the VWerks accessories and specialty vehicle builds, to the CNG Conversions for Ford and the Xplore dealer upfit program that benefits the National Park Foundation—the groundwork has been laid, we have a stellar team in place, and we’re excited for the challenge of taking these programs to the next level.”
