This is good news for aftermarket businesses across the board and the program groups that work hard to secure competitive pricing, programing, training, marketing programs and other membership perks for their affiliated distributors and resellers.

Of the 11 groups included in the annual Aftermarket Business World Program Distribution Report — AAM USA, Inc., Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, AIM, Automotive Distribution Network, Auto Parts Associates, Inc., CARQUEST, Engine Pro/Engine Parts Group, Inc., Federated Auto Parts Distribution, National Automotive Parts Association, National Pronto Association and TruStar — most reported they are are focusing on spurring member growth, training, sales and profitability throughout the new year.

Group representatives also spoke with Aftermarket Business World about what they had been seeing in terms of sales and trends throughout the different product categories — specifically antifreeze/coolant, battery chargers, motor oil, oxygen sensors and wipers.
