LOS ANGELES - Assembled and ready to go, Global West's new replacement tubular lower control arm for 1965-70 Impala, Caprice, Biscayne, Belair installs with no modifications. The arm is powder coated black and has the following features:

Stock ball joints
Polyurethane rotating spring cushion
A Teflon-lined spherical bearing is employed for holding the control arm to the frame rather than a rubber bushing. Global West uses a spherical bearing in this application because the bearing allows the arm to pivot without resistance. This reduces the twisting load on the eccentric that holds the lower arm to the frame. The result will be less chance of the alignment going out of adjustment.
Built-in steering stop
Sway bar attachment point

The lower arms are made out of 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch diameter roll cage tubing. The arms are Heliarc (tig) welded at the strategic points and Mig welded at various locations added in additional supports. CTA-50L is a direct replacement.
