LOS ANGELES - Toyo announces it has added 12 new sizes to its Open Country A/T (all terrain) line of tires for light trucks and SUVs. Ten new P-Metric sizes include P235/75R17, P245/75R17, P235/70R17, P245/70R17, P255/70R17, P285/70R17, P255/65R17, 235/60R17, P275/65R18, and 285/50R20 for modern OE upgrades and plus fitments. In addition, two new light truck sizes include an LT275/65R18 and an LT305/60R20.
Designed using Toyo's DSOC II computer technology, the Open Country A/T is a multi-purpose tire with excellent qualities both on-and-off the highway. It is M&S rated to provide excellent traction in a variety of conditions for both work and play. A computer-optimized tread design resists aquaplaning and provides better traction in the snow. Its aggressive tread block design also resists uneven wear for durability and longevity. Use of a high bead filler coupled with an open shoulder design helps to extend the service life of the Open Country A/T. An additional benefit from this construction is an improvement in both handling as well as ride comfort.
For OE fitments, ratings are available up to 10-ply for applications including both import and domestic pickups and SUVs. Flotation sizes also provide an opportunity for vehicle personalization.
