LOS ANGELES - SpeedDirect is announcing the new Steeroids bolt-on power rack and pinion steering conversion kits for 1968-72 Chevelles. Steeroids rack and pinion kits provide improved road feel and maximum performance by properly addressing steering geometry and eliminating bump steer. In addition, Steeroids kits weigh up to 25 lbs. less than the stock system and work with stock or aftermarket headers, as well as manual or automatic transmissions.

The system comes complete with a heavy-duty rack to handle the weight of a Chevelle, aluminum steering arms to maintain the factory sharp turning radius, adjustable tie rod ends to eliminate bumpsteer, mounting hardware, hoses, steering column adapter, and u-joint assembly (Steeroids power kits use the vehicle's existing pump). The kit is truly "bolt-on" with no drilling, cutting, or welding required. Installs in about four hours with basic hand tools. For more information, visit www.steeroids.com.
