World Products, engine manufacturer and producer of precision castings for high-performance vehicles, recently unveiled the "reborn" Mopar/World Hemi and Wedge aluminum race engine blocks.

Since 1987, World Products has developed precision castings like Merlin, Motown, Man O' War, Warhawk for all forms of racing and enthusiast - circle track, drag race, street rod, monster truck, custom car, late model or marine. World has supplied high quality components, designed and built to QS 9000 spec.

Specifications for the latest Mopar/World Hemi and Wedge include:

  • Rightcast in 357 t6 aluminum

  • Weighs 142 lbs w/caps and sleeves

  • Fully CNC machined

  • Compatible with all OE Mopar parts

  • Deck height: 10.725

  • Available bores: 4.250, 4.310, 4.500

  •  Can accept cranks to 4.750 with external oil pick-up

  •  Improved oiling, gallery-fed rockers

  • Provision for external oil pick-up

  • Oil pick-up changed to 2-bolt flange mount and moved to allow stroke clearance

  • Adapter provided for original screw-in style oil pick-up installation

  •  Stiffening webs in valley

  •  Cross-bolts on first four main positions

  • Standard or +.250-inch cam positions

  • Bronze lifter bushings

  • Bell housing allows Mopar or GM transmission bolt patterns

  •  Blocks available for hemi or RB wedge

  • All blocks carry Mopar casting number and logo
