MOOG product line grows by nearly 50 part numbers in April

The new MOOG parts cover more than 100 million potential service opportunities spanning a broad range of popular late-model North American, Asian and European passenger vehicles.
Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: FDML), has added 48 new part numbers – nearly half of which are the first available within the aftermarket for their applications – to the industry-leading MOOG® line of steering and suspension parts, driveline components and wheel hub assemblies. The new MOOG parts cover more than 100 million potential service opportunities spanning a broad range of popular late-model North American, Asian and European passenger vehicles. Included among the 21 first-to-the-aftermarket parts are a front upper ball joint (K100315) for nearly 1.8 million Dodge Ram 1500 (2006-2008), 2500HD and 3500HD (2003-2010) and 2500 and 3500 (2011-2016) models; front suspension strut mount (K160336) for more than 1.1 million Honda Odyssey (2011-2013) and Pilot (2009-2015) vehicles; and front alignment camber/caster plate (K100326) for approximately 19.6 million Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC and Hummer light trucks and SUVs ranging from the 1999 to 2016 model years. The MOOG chassis component portfolio now also includes the aftermarket’s first front upper ball joint (K100316) for more than 2.2 million Dodge Ram 1500 trucks, model years 2006-2016; idler arm (K40018) for 2011-2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD and GMG Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks; and rear coil spring set (81609) for Buick Enclave (2008-2012), Chevrolet Traverse (2009-2012), GMC Acadia (2007-2012) and Saturn Outlook (2007-2010) SUVs. “MOOG is the clear quality and coverage leader within our combined product categories, and we continue to build on this advantage with each monthly expansion of the MOOG product line,” said Bryon Osterland, general manager, global steering and suspension, Federal-Mogul Motorparts. The company also introduced several additional MOOG R-Series control arms and assemblies, including front right lower (RK622212) and front left lower (RK622213) assemblies for nearly 426,000 Chevrolet Blazer (2001-2005) and S10 (2001-2004), and GMC Jimmy (2001-2005) and Sonoma (2001-2004) models.
