WinAlign HD now capable of twin steer alignment

April 7, 2016
Hunter’s 6-sensor WinAlign HD alignment system has been enhanced with the capability to easily measure and align twin-steer vehicles.
Hunter’s 6-sensor WinAlign® HD alignment system has been enhanced with the capability to easily measure and align twin-steer vehicles. The updated version of WinAlign® HD includes two sensors on the reference (rear) axle and two sensors on each steering axle to ensure that they are timed to turn at the exact same rate while simultaneously ensuring parallelism. Six-sensor technology makes this the only system in the world that maintains its reference through the entire procedure, eliminating sources of error that previously existed while also increasing speed and efficiency.

The new WinAlign® HD with twin steer measurement capabilities, saves the technician time and effort on every heavy-duty alignment. WinAlign® software version 14.4 includes on-board training to guide the technician through the alignment process and Hunter’s exclusive Quick Comp® rolling compensation saves time by eliminating the need to jack each axle.

Hunter Engineering Company® is the global leader in alignment systems, wheel and tire service, brake service and inspection lane equipment. Hunter® equipment is approved and used by vehicle manufacturers, automobile and truck dealers, tire dealers and service facilities around the world.
