The Auto Care Association has launched its interactive Industry Job Board on autocarecareers.org, promoting career opportunities in the auto care industry to college students and recent graduates, military veterans and technical schools. The Industry Job Board offers the industry at large an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.  “We’re very excited about the industry job board because we know how critical it is for employers in the auto care industry to attract first-rate talent with a minimum expenditure of time and resources,” said Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO, Auto Care Association. “The auto care industry is constantly looking for talented and energetic individuals to join our team. The Industry Job Board provides a platform to put these new jobseekers and companies together.”   Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily. As an introductory offer, all postings are free-of-charge through AAPEX. For job seekers, the job board on autocarecareers.org is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the auto care industry. In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria. The Industry Job Board is part of the new Job and Career Development Program aimed to recruit new professionals into the industry.
