VIPAR Heavy Duty partners with sales-I
sales-i, a sales intelligence solution, announced its partnership with VIPAR Heavy Duty, a leading North American network of independent aftermarket distributors.
Specializing in commercial vehicle components and service, VIPAR Heavy Duty distributors serve customers from more than 500 locations across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Jeff Paul, VIPAR Heavy Duty Director of Marketing, said: “As the heavy duty aftermarket continues to evolve, VIPAR Heavy Duty is always looking for ways to best serve our distributors and empower them to remain competitive in the market place. Our new partnership with sales-i recognizes our commitment to meeting our customers’ needs with a tool that will help them to sell more efficiently.”
Driven by the demands of sales personnel for efficient and more successful ways of targeting prospects, sales-i offers a business intelligence solution that takes the guesswork out of selling and simplifies the process of data collection and analysis. By analyzing customers’ buying behaviors, it can proactively alert sales people to upcoming selling opportunities.
Fort Garry Industries Ltd., one of the largest suppliers of truck and trailer equipment in North America, recently adopted sales-i. Robyn Spitzke, President of Fort Garry Industries comments, “sales-i provides an easy to use interface to help identify sales trends and opportunities. While this information was always available in our system, sales-i’s delivery model allows for quick, point and click analysis. We look forward to using sales-i as a tool to grow our business.”
Paul says: “We are a service driven industry and our partnership with sales-i will aid in further strengthening our distributors’ presence within the market and cement their dedication to providing the best service, quality and value.”
Kevin McGirl, president of sales-i, says “Since launching sales-i we have been overwhelmed by how positively the solution has been received, both here in the USA and in the UK. We are always improving the software to ensure we retain our market leading position in the business intelligence software space and we are delighted to have joined North America’s leading truck parts network.”
