Paul MacHenry selects MAM Software for three facilities
MAM Software, Inc. announced Paul MacHenry & Company, a major Motorcraft distributor in the U.S., has chosen Autopart business management software for the automotive aftermarket. Paul MacHenry will implement the solution at three facilities in the Northeastern U.S. to streamline processes, improve efficiency and enhance customer service.
“We knew it was time to upgrade our software system if we were going to continue to grow as a company,” said Skip MacHenry, Vice-President of Paul MacHenry & Company. “We felt that if we had the right tools, we could be more effective performing the day-to-day tasks. We looked at several different software packages and chose MAM Software.”
Autopart will manage all core business processes for Paul MacHenry, including product and price management, sales order processing, warehouse management, accounting, ecommerce and business analysis. Paul MacHenry expects to gain more efficient business processes, control costs, improve inventory accuracy and identify new profit opportunities.
“We were impressed right away when we saw the MAM system. It runs on Microsoft SQL, which gives us access to our information and allows us to get data in and out of the system easily. As a Ford Authorized Distributor and Ford’s Northeast Regional Accessory Distributor, we like that the system is flexible enough to handle our special requirements, now and in the future,” continued MacHenry. “And most important, the system was built from the ground-up for automotive parts distributors. It gives us the best of both worlds – technology and functionality.”
Paul MacHenry provides original equipment parts to Ford and Lincoln dealerships, as well as General Motors Dealers, jobbers, fleets and other automotive related companies. The company was founded in 1972 and has grown to three facilities in New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania and also manages accessory inventories for seven warehouse facilities throughout the Northeast Region.
