The 7-piece hex sockets in the Snap-on Low Profile Swivel Impact Socket Set, No. 207RIPFM, have laser welded pivot pins allowing a smooth 30-degree swivel delivering force where it’s needed. The lower profile makes reaching into cramped engine compartments and hard-to-reach areas of vehicles easier, especially for under dash work. Using the patented Flank Drive wrenching system, the 207RIPFM creates 15 to 20 percent more turning power, says the company. Made from special alloy steel and heat-treated to be strong enough to deliver a solid blow without damaging or breaking stubborn fasteners, the set includes an industrial finish to protect from corrosion.
