    Use the Cal-Van Tools Long Reach Harmonic Balancer Installer, No. 38700, for the installation of underdrive or oversized pulleys, and applications with recessed threads on the crankshaft.  The Long Reach Balancer / Pulley Installer is a kit for installing harmonic balancer pulleys on many popular late-model Ford, GM, Dodge and Chrysler vehicles with V6 and V8 engines that have recessed threads for the crank pulley bolt, utilize an underdrive pulley, or both. Traditional-type balancer pulley installers will not work in many of these applications. This convenient kit features four high quality, long-reach threaded adapters and a universal nut that enables technicians install these pulleys with ease.
