The Electronic Specialties' Code Buddy +PLUS (No. 902) works with all 1996 and later OBD II/CAN-compliant vehicles. The 902 displays the full live data stream, giving valuable feedback while the vehicle’s engine is running. Should the vehicle set a hard trouble code, freeze frame data can be viewed as well. Code Buddy +PLUS can read and clear generic and manufacturer specific DTCs and pending codes. Further capabilities include displaying I/M and Emissions Readiness Status as well as MIL status. This unit will also display the VIN and calibration IDs of 2002 and newer vehicles supporting Mode 9.
