The Klein Tools Long-Nose Wire Stripper/Crimper, No. 1009, is designed to grab, pull and bend small wires. This tool strips 10-20 solid and 12-22 stranded wire, crimps insulated and non-insulated connectors and is engineered for improved leverage when stripping and crimping. The 1009 offers a reinforced patent-pending head design to reduce flex and keep stripping holes to size and precision sheer-type blades. This tool is not designed for cutting steel wire.
