It provides continuous-duty battery testing for 6, 12 and 24V batteries up to 2,000 CCA and features a variable load capacity from 0-1000 amps. The 1876 enables easy assessment of battery state of charge, battery capacity, starter draw and charging system output. Large ammeter and voltmeter displays enable accurate load control and give test results in simple pass/fail zones, eliminating the need for the operator to interpret test readings. Large, heavy duty clamps penetrate battery corrosion for accurate readings.
