The CV Boot Clamp Pliers, No. 28667, from Mayhew can be used to mount ear-style CV boot clamps, Oetiker type and similar types. These pliers come specifically designed to completely close ear-style boot clamps (Oetiker type and similar) by compressing each side of the clamp's ear using the forged anvil at the center of the plier's jaws. The plier's anvil permits an ideal closing of each ear-clamp and thus ensures that the clamp is correctly installed and takes up a minimum of space when closed. Can be used on CV boots, front wheel drive steering systems, fuel systems, air and water cooling circuits and air-bag systems.
