Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announces the next EcoLean™ Level 1 workshop will be held August 14 and 15, 2018 at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel in Dearborn (Detroit), Mich. The workshop will include a tour of the Ford Rouge Center, now a model of both industrial production and environmental redesign. The 600-acre site remains Ford Motor Company’s largest single industrial complex and produces its most successful selling model, the F150 pick up.
“The EcoLean curriculum was developed specifically with collision shop operators in mind,” says Lee Rush, Manager of Business Consulting Services, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “We give our workshop attendees an extensive and comprehensive look at building a lean culture in their shop from the ground up.”
The EcoLean Level 1 workshop curriculum includes:
- An overview of lean production and its practical application in collision repair
- Approaches to making a collision facility more efficient and effective
- How to build a lean culture from the ground up
“There’s a reason we continue to sell out our EcoLean workshops; owners and managers feel more and more industry pressure every day to improve performance in both the front office and on the production floor,” says Rush. “Those who participate in our training and implement their learnings have proven to be incredibly successful within their markets.”
