AWDA recognizes industry leaders with four prestigious awards at annual conference
The Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association celebrated a leadership transition and presented four awards honoring excellence at the AWDA Sunday General Session & Awards Presentation during the 78th annual AWDA Conference.
Ashlee Arnold, vice president of Arnold Oil Company and AWDA chair for the past three years, delivered her farewell address before passing the role to Fletcher Lord III, president and CEO of Parts Warehouse Inc.
Fletcher Lord III received The Pursuit of Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding business performance and achievement.
Babcox Media received The Art Fisher Award for Excellence in Education, honoring exceptional leadership and commitment to education and training in memory of former AWDA Chairman Art Fisher.
Bill Long, president and CEO of MEMA, The Aftermarket Suppliers, received The Lifetime Achievement Award in Honor of Martin Fromm, recognizing individuals who have demonstrated integrity, leadership and a lifelong, unselfish commitment to the motor vehicle aftermarket industry.
Don Bickle Jr. of S&W Supply and Warehouse received The Outstanding Leadership Award in Honor of Jack Creamer, presented to an aftermarket professional who has made a monumental contribution to the industry or association beyond the call of duty.
