Clay Buzzard was the chairman and CEO of Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor Inc. (MAWDI) from 1963 until 2004. During his career, he received many industry honors - most noteable is the Leader of the Year by the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) in 1996.

Buzzard was chairman of the AWDA Univesity Foundation - now the UAF - for many years and his wife, Rita continues that legacy through her ongoing support of UAF.
