Auto Care Association Expands Data Standards Education in Latin America
The Auto Care Association recently hosted two day-long ACES and PIES training sessions in Mexico and Brazil as part of the association’s continued expansion of coverage for data standards education in Latin America, according to a recent press release.
On July 22, the association hosted a full-day training session in Mexico City, Mexico, on the ACES and PIES data standards, delivered in Spanish. More than 99% of automotive vehicle coverage is now available through VCdb, with Spanish translations for VCdb, PCdb, PAdb and Qdb nearing 90%.
On Sept. 10, the association hosted a parallel full-day training session in São Paulo, Brazil, in Portuguese. Similar to in Mexico, vehicle coverage has reached 99%, with Portuguese translations for VCdb, PCdb, PAdb and Qdb at 90%.
Both training sessions were hosted by Integrated Data Facts.
The Auto Care Association also announced that expanded motorcycle coverage is expected to be available in October 2025.
An additional Spanish-language educational session on data standards will take place at AAPEX 2025 on Nov. 5. An additional Portuguese-language education session on data standards will continue at AAPEX 2025 on Nov. 5, as well.
