Tekmetric, Nexpart partner to streamline shop operations
Auto repair platform Tekmetric and parts network Nexpart Multi-Seller announced a new integration designed to streamline supply chain management for repair shops facing technician shortages, parts availability issues, and increasingly complex vehicle repairs.
The integration connects Tekmetric's shop management platform with Nexpart Multi-Seller's B2B automotive parts network, giving repair shops direct access to over 20 million products from 53,000 suppliers within their existing estimate workflow.
Tekmetric serves over 11,000 shops through its cloud-based platform that manages customer vehicles, estimates, digital vehicle inspections, work progress tracking, customer approvals, and electronic payments. The partnership allows Tekmetric users to search their entire supply chain from a single interface, with real-time local inventory, wholesale pricing, and detailed product information displayed on one screen. Service advisors can transfer parts and tires back to Tekmetric estimates with one click, building detailed quotes in seconds.
"This new integration gives Tekmetric users more buying options than ever before with direct access to Nexpart Multi-Seller, the largest B2B automotive parts network in the industry," the companies stated in their announcement. Nexpart Multi-Seller's network includes aftermarket suppliers, OE dealers, tire vendors, and heavy-duty suppliers, providing what the companies describe as "the most comprehensive catalog in the industry."
The integration aims to help repair shops "focus on profitability, manage their supply chain, and build stronger, more efficient workflows from write-up to pick-up" as they navigate current industry challenges.
