Korea Fuel Tech America investing $4M Into expanding Alabama manufacturing facility

Korea Fuel Tech America invests $4 million to expand its Auburn, Alabama facility, enhancing production of eco-friendly automotive fuel parts and creating 17 new jobs.

Korea Fuel Tech America, Inc., is investing $4 million to expand its facility in Auburn, Alabama, reports WAKA Action 8 News.

First opened in 2022, its facility in Auburn Technology Park South provides eco-friendly fuel parts, such as carbon canisters for gasoline and hybrid automotive fuel systems. The facility also performs injection molding and assembly manufacturing processes. Its parts are used by Hyundai, Kia, GM, Volkswagen, and Porsche.

In addition, the expansion will introduce 17 new staff members to the Auburn facility.

“We appreciate the City of Auburn’s support over the last three years,” said Hak Won Suh, president of Korea Fuel Tech America, Inc. “We look forward to completing this expansion, which will enhance our ability to better service our customer base and bring even more jobs to the Auburn community.”
