• Fisher Auto Parts acquires Genden Auto Parts’ New England stores

Genden Auto Parts operates seven locations across western Massachusetts, northern Connecticut, southern Vermont, and southwestern New Hampshire.

Fisher Auto Parts has announced the acquisition of Genden Auto Parts in a recent press release.

Genden Auto Parts operates seven locations across western Massachusetts, northern Connecticut, southern Vermont, and southwestern New Hampshire. It’s built a reputation among both commercial and do-it-yourself customers through offering traditional aftermarket hard parts, OEM lines and hydraulics, and comprehensive retail showrooms.

John Lamoureux, owner of Genden Auto Parts, will continue to lead current store operations and the battery truck and internet business alongside his experienced team, according to Fisher. He noted the advantages the acquired stores will have from Fisher Auto Parts' new 217,000 square-foot facility in Chicopee, Massachusetts.

“This state-of-the-art facility will create new opportunities for our current team members and expand business for Fisher Auto Parts,” said Lamoureux. “We will be able to complement their already robust hard part assortments with our front room assortments and pursue additional locations. Expansion through Greenfield stores and acquisitions is extremely exciting.”
