Auto 7 Inc. has named Arizona native and resident David Stewart the company’s Western Regional sales manager, according to Vice President Patrick Sommerfeld.

Stewart has spent virtually his entire career with CSK/O’Reilly Auto Parts, which operates 4,571 stores in 44 states and is one of the largest specialty retailers of automotive aftermarket parts, tools, supplies, equipment and accessories in the U.S.

In his 25 years with O’Reilly, Stewart worked his way up from retail management and store management positions in various CSK stores in the Phoenix area to regional manager responsible for 60 O’Reilly stores in central California that generated more than $100 million in sales last year. For three of the past six years, Stewart received awards recognizing him as one of the company’s top-performing employees.

“We’re very pleased to have Dave join our team,” Sommerfeld said. “The western USA region is a critical market for Auto 7, and Dave’s years of experience with CSK/O’Reilly will help open the doors to greater visibility and sales for us in that fast-growing market.”

A native of Chandler, Ariz., and current resident of Queen Creek, Ariz., Stewart also spent the past year working for Rep-Works Marketing, a company responsible for managing relationships between manufacturers and automotive parts distributors, automotive warehouses and WD and Jobber locations. As Auto 7’s Western Regional manager, Stewart will remain in Arizona and travel throughout the entire Western region.

“Joining Auto 7 made perfect sense,” said Stewart. “I know the industry and I know how important OEM quality parts are to the technician. But I also get to work with a talented team that’s dedicated to providing the very best products and service.”

Auto 7 is part of an international company that has been in business for more than 60 years. The company supplies a wide array of Korean-made, OEM quality automotive parts that are ISO-14000, QS-9000 or ISO/TS-16949 certified, and many of which are not typically available in the traditional aftermarket supply chain.
