Ryan Kooiman is the director of training for Standard Motor Products (SMP). He works with the sales, technical, and marketing teams to oversee the work of SMP's Pro-Training program as well as the work at the company's corporate training center in Irving, Texas. The Pro-Training program educates technicians at evening clinics held in locations across North America, while the training center hosts hands on technical training for technicians, SMP salespeople, customers, on-line training, product support knowledge, the technical assistance phone line for the Temperature Control Division, as well as providing input for the engineering and marketing teams. Kooiman is ASE Master L1, L2, and L3 Certified.
