Install the Hybrid Overlay Harness kit to replace intermittently open wire sections of the high voltage (HV) cable interlock circuit. Do not attempt to identify and repair the suspect area with conventional electrical wire or by splicing.
The Hybrid Overlay Harness kit contains a special high-flexibility wire with added length to better accommodate engine/transaxle movement. No materials or repair procedures should be used other than those included in the kit.
