AAM welcomes 1st Performance Warehouse as new member

(Oct. 29, 2007) Automotive Accessories Marketing, U.S.A., Inc. recently announced that it has accepted 1st Performance Warehouse as a new member of the AAM Group and the Parts Pro Performance Centers marketing program. 1st Performance Warehouse/Winners Circle Speed was accepted into AAM membership effective Oct. 19, 2007.

The addition of 1st Performance Warehouse brings to 13 the number of member warehouses within the AAM Parts Pro Performance Centers marketing program. The Parts Pro Performance Centers program produces point-of-sale materials to support AAM affiliated retailers in the merchandising and promotion of performance parts and accessories for the street and race performance enthusiast. Total Truck Centers and Parts Pro Performance Centers are marketing programs developed by AAM, each designed to focus on specific market interests.

1st Performance Warehouse is a wholesaler of performance parts and accessories headquartered just outside of Chicago in Joliet, Ill. The company's Winners Circle Speed and Custom stores operate three well-established traditional speed shops in Joliet, Peoria, and East Moline, Ill. 1st Performance services a broad spectrum of the performance and accessory market with race, street performance and truck accessory items well represented. The business maintains a strong connection with the race market through its interaction at the race track level.

AAM is a Texas Corporation chartered in 1988. The corporation was founded by six high performance parts warehouse distributors to create a medium through which they might achieve scaled buying advantages not present when their companies operated in autonomy. Through 2007 the group is comprised of 21 member-companies operating 26 distribution centers throughout the United States and Canada.

AAM maintains its headquarters in Johnson City, Tenn. This office serves as the administrative and marketing arm of the group and manages the purchasing and advertising of products supplied by manufacturers that participate in the programs.
