The Remanufacturing Section will return to the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) set for Nov. 5-7, 2013, at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nev.

Co-hosted by the Motor & Equipment Remanufacturers Association (MERA) and the Engine Rebuilders Council (ERC), the Remanufacturing Section promotes the environmental, economic and product performance benefits of remanufacturing in the automotive aftermarket.

The Remanufacturing Section will feature dozens of exhibits from ERC and MERA members, as well as live engine rebuilding demonstrations by Hendrick Motorsports technicians.

AAPEX is jointly sponsored by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).

“Remanufactured and rebuilt engines deliver sustainability and value that not only benefits consumers, but the entire aftermarket,” said Courtney Carbone, director, AAIA member services, Engine Rebuilders Council. “ERC members are excited to return to this important section to promote these benefits in 2013.”

“Remanufacturing is really sustainable manufacturing, and members of MERA are recognized as leaders in our industry,” said Tom Rippinger, senior manager, communications and member services, MERA. “We look forward to working with ERC to bring even greater attention to the companies that will participate in this exciting section.”

AAPEX says the Remanufacturing Section sold out quickly last year, so prospective exhibitors from MERA and ERC member companies are encouraged to complete their AAPEX applications as soon as possible, with the appropriate box checked for the Remanufacturing Section.
