Brushless technology has become increasingly popular in power tools over the last couple of years, according to the company. Brushless motors itself is not a new technology, but found its way to cordless tools to help increase run time and improve the life of the tool.

The company says brushless motors are contact-free, reducing the resistance and eliminating the wear on the tools armature delivering longer tool life.  A

Features and benefits of the MST6148 - Corded Brushless 1200W Angle Grinder and MST6149 - Corded Brushless 1200W Variable Speed Polisher are:

* up to 3 times longer life than conventional motors – brushless, contact-free, reduces resistance and eliminates wear on the tools armature for longer tool life;

* overload protection - the tool will automatically cut power under overload conditions to prevent the motor from overheating;

* no carbon brushes, low maintenance unlike conventional motors. The brushless motor does not require the regular replacement of carbon brushes;

* constant speed – speed of motor will remain constant under heavy duty working conditions;

* less weight; and

* soft start.

The Monster brand from Integrated Supply Network Inc. is available exclusively through the mobile tool distribution channel.
