OEConnection LLC (OEC), the leading automotive technology provider for original equipment manufacturers’ (OEM) distribution networks is launching a comprehensive mechanical parts ordering and fulfillment program for U.S.-based Lexus dealers. The luxury brand’s program becomes the ninth of its kind in the U.S. and tenth overall available through the OEC RepairLink technology.
Using the RepairLink platform, which is free for shops to use, Lexus dealers can offer exclusive pricing to their mechanical repair shop customers on a specified list of parts. RepairLink data shows that dealers participating in an OEM parts marketing program increase their parts sales by nearly 60 percent. “RepairLink is valuable to shops for three primary reasons: first, it aggregates the parts inventories from more than 20 OE brands in a single marketplace; second, it provides access to the richest OE parts data available online, which we’re able to provide because of our trusted relationships with vehicle manufacturers; and finally, RepairLink covers about 80 percent of the available vehicle units in operation in the U.S. with its nine OEM parts programs,” said Jon Palazzo, OEC General Manager, Mechanical. “This allows repair shops a single marketplace, with a broader depth and breadth of parts not typically available from the traditional aftermarket suppliers, backed by OEM and dealer incentives.” “Lexus dealers are excited to offer their wholesale parts customers online access to parts pricing and availability,” said Kathy Wachs, Parts & Service Program Consultant, Lexus Customer Service.  It helps dealers provide our guests with competitively priced and convenient parts, while keeping factory-sourced parts on their vehicles. We’re known for going out of our way to provide the best experience for our guests, and this partnership helps us continue to deliver on that promise.” OEC technology solutions address critical problems across the OE parts ecosystem. RepairLink is the preeminent, online mechanical OE parts ordering solution, providing the mechanical repair market with best-in-class data and parts program capabilities. More than 30,000 shops across the U.S. access the application monthly. RepairLink for independent repair facilities, along with CollisionLink for body shops, creates the industry’s best solution suite to help dealers grow their wholesale parts business.
