Dayco Products LLC today announced it received the 2013 Outstanding Manpower Support Award from the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance during its annual winter meeting held this past December in Aventura, Fla.

Dayco representatives were presented with the award during the presentation of the Annual Supplier Awards, which are voted on by the shareholders of the Alliance.

The Outstanding Manpower Support Award was given to Dayco for its best-in-class field support, which includes technician clinics and store sales calls. Dayco’s field sales staff consists of representatives throughout the United States and Canada who are tasked daily with meeting the needs of their customers. Dayco field sales representatives are focused on training new technicians on to how to properly inspect wearing parts, such as serpentine belts, and how installing Dayco’s extensive line of aftermarket products will help them reduce the amount of comebacks at their respective automotive and heavy duty repair shops.

“Dayco’s field sales representatives are constantly available to provide answers to our customer’s questions and have built long-lasting relationships with customers throughout the United States and Canada,” said Ken Kee, Senior Vice President of North America Sales for Dayco Products. “Our field sales team continues to exceed industry expectations and should be honored to be recognized by the Alliance for their continued hard work and dedication to the automotive aftermarket.”

Dayco also received the Outstanding Manpower Support Award from the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance in 2012.
