Continental, an international automotive supplier, tire manufacturer and industry partner, has been included on Forbes magazine’s list of America’s Best Employers 2015.

Continental, an international automotive supplier, tire manufacturer and industry partner, has been included on Forbes magazine’s list of America’s Best Employers 2015. Among its 200,000 employees worldwide Continental employs approximately 20,000 people in the U.S. It is one of the top companies included on the Best Employers 2015 list, which was generated from a survey field of employees in more than 1,100 companies.

“As the economy is growing stronger, we’re experiencing an increasingly competitive environment for talent,” said Rick Ledsinger, Continental’s Vice President of Human Relations, NAFTA and Tire the Americas Regions. “That is why we strive to be an employer of choice by creating the best work environment to attract and retain the best employees. We are proud to have our efforts validated by our inclusion on Forbes’ America’s Best Employers list.”

As employers compete for talent, two questions become crucial: What makes a company an employer of choice? How attractive are companies for employees? In response, Forbes, in partnership with Internet-based statistic company Statista Inc., conducted an anonymous online survey of more than 20,000 Americans employed by large U.S. firms, divisions of international companies, and institutions. Employees were asked: “On a scale of 0-10, how likely would you be to recommend your employer to someone? How about other employers in your industry?”

Extracts of the America’s Best Employers 2015 report appear in the April 13, 2015, edition of Forbes magazine.

“Innovative, high-performance products are derived from an innovative, high-performance culture. Our four core values – Trust, Passion to Win, Freedom to Act and For One Another – are the pillars for our Continental culture,” said Ledsinger. "With their dedication each and every day, it is our employees who make us a successful company. Together, we are the face of Continental and help shape the mobility of the future; this is what makes Continental a highly attractive employer. A great team is what makes the difference in addition to good pay, benefits and flexibility, work-life balance, professional development, career growth and global opportunities. These are only some of the benefits Continental, as a worldwide active leading technology company, can provide.”
