FTC issues vehicle warranty consumer alert

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently issued a consumer alert titled “Auto Warranties, Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Is Using the Dealer a Must?”

The alert relates to vehicle warranties and clearly lays out the provisions of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the protections it provides the motoring public. The alert acts as helpful and clear guidance for consumers as to their warranty rights.
