We’re mid-way through the year. How are your sales going so far? Have you taken time yet to analyze the first half and figure out how to make the second half count? You should.
And just in case you find you’re not where you want to be, this issue offers up some advice and inspiration to really go all out through the rest of 2010.
First up, Rick Hodges, our distributor profile, discusses in part how the decision to go all-in with his business was the best thing to happen to it (aside from his wife, Krissi). He said that worrying less about spending the money and just making sure his truck was stocked was a key to increasing sales as an independent. (As the saying goes, “If you are going to walk on thin ice, you might as well dance.”)
And our regular Mobile Motivations columnist, Mac distributor Joe Poulin, finishes the magazine with advice on letting go. How can you enjoy a Sleep Number bed if you’re tossing and turning running through yesterday’s, or tomorrow’s, troubles?
“If you see 10 troubles coming down the road, you can be sure that nine will run into the ditch before they reach you,” President Calvin Coolidge once said.
Calvin and Joe are both right. It is useless to waste energy on that which has not presented itself, or is already behind you.
So, as you work on finishing 2010 strong, don’t do things half-way; go all out!
