ST 9015 Anti-Theft Radio Key Switch Blade

Feb. 26, 2008

New from Sir Tools is their ST 9015 Anti-Theft Radio Key Switch Blade. Features, functions and applications of the tool, which folds up like a pocket knife, include:

  • Keys are placed the correct distance within the tool, so that when the two halves are slide together, they're interlocked and held in place. This allows each half of the tool kit to be pulled with your fists not your fingers. The company sees this as crucial for new Audi and VW vehicles with 4 horizontal key slots.
  • An open-ended design allows for adding more keys.
  • Applications include Mercedes, Porsche 996s and Boxsters equipped with Becker radios; all Audi and VW radios up to 2005; all models equipped with 4 horizontal or 2 vertical key slots; early VWs, including Passat, Jetta and Golf models; most BMWs, excluding E38 and E39 models; a specialty key for BMW E38 and E39 models; and standard barbed hooks for Ford, Chevy, Saab and Land Rover.
