The UBM Automotive Group today announced the launch of a new video-based training resource — Motor Age Training CONNECT, powered by AutoMate at NACE Automechanika Chicago 2017.
Motor Age Training CONNECT, the new cutting-edge video training portal is designed to keep automotive professionals up-to-date on the latest vehicle technologies and repair techniques. Featuring more than 350 video training modules, this portal is the go-to online resource technicians need to maintain skills and find advanced solutions to consumer vehicle complaints. New content is added monthly, and upon completion of full training courses and programs, automotive professionals will be entered to win monthly prizes, including cash and tools.
“Video training is the number one way technicians want to learn new methods of repair when they cannot make it to a live event or training course,” said Pete Meier, director of training, UBM Automotive Group. “The variety of processes, procedures and topics covered in the hundreds of videos now located in one place is an automotive professional’s dream come true for learning.”
Video training modules cover dozens of automotive subjects, including engine performance, driveline systems, steering and suspension, electrical systems, HVAC systems, technical information and tools and equipment, among others. In addition, the videos include industry news and resources such as tool specs, recalls and DTC information.
The standard access package is $24.99 per month, and the premium access package – which includes Motor Age original content and video training tools from Meier and other contributors – is $29.99 per month.
