The Montana collision industry broke records Saturday, March 3  at the Montana Collision Repair Specialists’ Spring Meeting in Helena.
The Montana collision industry broke records Saturday, March 3  at the Montana Collision Repair Specialists’ Spring Meeting in Helena. Approximately 105 attendees came to Montana’s State Capital for this industry day, including guests from the Idaho Auto Body Craftsman, Utah, Colorado and Florida. 

Mike Anderson highlighted this day with his “Parts Procurement-Best Practices” seminar. Anderson’s opening comments were, “We will thrive — not just survive.”  His Industry Overview before the seminar was an eye-opening collection of data documenting the change and challenges in today’s market place.  Throughout this day, Anderson offers solutions to meet these challenges and, “Be The Best In Your Area.” Dealership parts managers, counter people and body shop parts managers attended this meeting.

MCRS lobbyist Drew Geiger spoke at the MCRS Business Breakfast Meeting,  bringing the industry up to date on the 2013 Montana State Legislature and if any current legislation was introduced that may affect the industry. The morning meeting is an inter-active session with the MCRS Board and  members,  reporting association business and encouraging discussion.   

Eight Montana shop owners, led by facilitator Anderson, conducted an Industry Round Table at the MCRS meeting luncheon.  Anderson led the round table with the question, “What is keeping you up at night?”
