Service King Collision Repair Centers opened a new location in Deer Valley, Ariz., the company's ninth shop in that state.

Service King was founded 36 years ago by Eddie Lennox with one location in Dallas, Texas. The Carlyle Group bought a majority stake in Richardson-based Service King, providing the capital necessary to grow nationally. In addition to nine Arizona shops, Service King has 24 in Dallas-Fort Worth, 12 in Houston, nine in San Antonio and six in Austin, Texas.
