Santa Monica, Calif. (June 19, 2012) – The Advanstar Automotive Group, a leading provider of integrated media solutions to the automotive aftermarket and collision repair industry, has announced a complete redesign and re-launch of its portal site at www.SearchAutoparts.com. The news and information site links together Advanstar Automotive Group magazines and their respective websites ABRN.com, MotorAge.com, and AftermarketBusinessWorld.com, along with Motor Age Training at PasstheASE.com.

"From its start, SearchAutoparts.com has aggregated information about the automotive aftermarket that is relevant to manufacturers, distributors, mechanical repair shops and collision repair shops," said Michael Willins, content director, Advanstar Automotive Group. "With our new look and layout, it’s easier than ever for each of our readers to find the article, video or technical information that applies to their unique position in the industry."

The new SearchAutoparts.com is designed to help guide readers through the content and to curate information that applies specifically to their interests. To help accomplish this goal the website features a prominent display of the core Advanstar Automotive Group brands including ABRN, Aftermarket Business World, and Motor Age magazines.

Willins says readers will find the biggest and newest stories in the center of the page surrounded by a number of new lists for blogs, videos and discussions from Advanstar Automotive Group's social networking site, AutoPro Workshop. One of the newest features of the website is a free, self-service classified section.

To help celebrate the redesigned website, Advanstar Automotive Group is giving away a new iPad 3 to a member of the AutoProWorkshop community. Anyone who registers for the community through July 13 is eligible to win. Existing members can also win by posting in the community through July 13.

"We know what a large role social media is playing in today's aftermarket, and we've integrated Facebook and Twitter feeds into our new design to help readers share with others today’s important stories," explained Willins.
