Key House sponsor supports insurance reform bill

U.S. Rep. William Lacy Clay, D-Mo., a senior member of the House Financial Services Committee, has signed on as a co-sponsor for House Bill 1880, legislation establishing optional federal insurance regulation for property and casualty insurers.

The Automotive Service Association (ASA) supports H.R. 1880.

Recently, ASA hosted a Capitol Hill Fly-In event in Washington, D.C., for its collision repair members. Collision repairers from across the country fanned out across Capitol Hill to discuss insurance reform with their representatives and senators.
